i love randy so much, amazing content

An absolutely marvelous work put under the goofy style of comedy and animation that Speedo (and Crisppyboat? Just going by the credits.) is grand at. Seemingly everything is built around being fun to notice, like the split second translator's notes in the subtitles and the swapping around of voice actors for Gogo Matsumoto.
The best part for me is that this feels like a parody of an anime that already exists rather than just parodying anime in general, despite the Japanese voices. Under Speedo's direction or not, I love watching this and would love to watch any more Punch Punch Forever to come!

Very nice to see rat drinker representation.

such lovely tags

Really cute and absolutely lovely stuff, I love all the silly joke unlocks. I wonder how a full metroidvania that limits movement like this would work.. or maybe even hide movement options and such through actual unlock conditions, like defeating certain amounts of enemies or something like that. Fantastic stuff!

This game is awesome! It's really cool to see a Mario game like this, it's like a playable version of all those old sprite animations you'd use to see super often. It was super fun then and it's still super fun now.
I am a bit bugged by this one pit you can't really see coming later in the game, but whatever. Your Super Mario! You gotta go kick bowsers ass!

This track is super sweet! I don't have all that much in particular to say about it, it's just good! I can picture this being used in some night time city track in my obsession of the hour.

Really fun use of a lot of these samples, especially the Sega Genesis or MegaDrive chip. Neat stuff!

a most wacky and dandy animation, and something really clever to make out of a walk animation! absolutely dashing stuff

I love that the triforce is just tiny in his hands, it's such a goofy thing but it fits so well with the goofy idea to begin with.

Lookin' cool! I particularly love the detail on the car itself, as well as the glasses or goggles or whatever's protecting his eyes from all the dirt that's surely in the air. Maybe I just like shiny things... The clouds in the air are nice too, though I wish there was a background here. Still awesome!
